The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending March 22 was 1,903,000, an increase of 56,000 from the previous week's revised level. This is the highest level for insured unemployment since November 13, 2021 when it was 1,970,000. The previous week's level was revised down by 9,000 from 1,856,000 to 1,847,000. The 4-week moving average was 1,870,500, an increase of 2,750 from the previous week's revised average. The previous week's average was revised down by 2,250 from 1,870,000 to 1,867,750.
